We are looking to recruit a driven and determined technical manager for our rapidly expanding Northern Asset Management division. You will be based in Aberdeen and will be responsible for delivering value to key customers and striving to continuously improve the processes and capabilities of your team.

The ideal candidate will be logical, structured and have a keen eye for detail. Extensive offshore experience is not essential but you must be prepared to undertake some offshore work as a part of your duties. A strong background in reliability engineering with a focus on large rotating machinery is a fundamental requirement of the role. You will have a good balance of academic and practical engineering skills and will ideally be educated to at least degree level (minimum HND). The role will require the management of a team and you will be able to demonstrate leadership and a track record of encouraging others to perform to the best of their abilities.

To be successful you will need a thorough understanding of reliability engineering with a focus on condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis and lubricant analysis. You will need to demonstrate a range of skills in maintenance engineering and its management but above all you will have a desire to succeed and to continue the rapid growth of the business.
